A few practical terms.

1. Agreement and operator

These terms apply when you download, access or use Nomly. Nomly is operated by Santiago Design Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 13010534, with a registered office at 124 City Road, London, England, EC1V 2NX.

By using Nomly, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you cannot legally agree to these terms, you must not use the service.

2. What Nomly provides

Nomly helps you turn supported grocery-order screenshots into a virtual pantry, organise food by available date information, generate recipes using pantry contents and update estimated stock after cooking.

Nomly currently supports full-page Ocado order screenshots. Nomly is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Ocado.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in method secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable care.

4. Your uploads and requests

You keep ownership of screenshots, pantry information and requests you submit. You give us permission to store and process that material only as needed to provide, secure and improve the operation of Nomly, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

You must have the right to upload the material you select. Do not upload passwords, payment-card details or information you do not want processed as part of the screenshot.

5. Food safety, allergens and nutrition

Receipt extraction, dates, quantities, nutrition values and AI-generated recipes may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always inspect food, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and use safe storage, preparation and cooking practices. Never rely on Nomly alone to decide whether food is safe to eat.

You are responsible for checking ingredients and labels for allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements. Nutrition and calorie information is an estimate and should not be used for clinical or medical decisions.

6. Current and future pricing

Nomly is currently available without a subscription charge. We may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future. We will clearly show the price, billing period, included features and applicable purchase terms before you agree to pay.

Any in-app purchase made through Apple will also be subject to the App Store’s payment, cancellation and subscription-management terms. We will not charge you merely because a paid option is introduced.

7. Acceptable use

You must not misuse Nomly, attempt to bypass its security, interfere with its operation, access another person’s data, upload unlawful or harmful material, reverse engineer the service where prohibited, or use automated means to overload it. We may limit or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, Nomly or our providers.

Nomly’s software, branding, design and service content—excluding your own material—belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, limited and revocable right to use the app for its intended purpose.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Nomly reliable, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Receipt processing, recipe generation, notifications and other features can depend on internet access and third-party services including Apple, Google Firebase and OpenAI.

We may maintain, change or discontinue features. Where a change materially affects your use, we will provide reasonable notice where practical.

9. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to that, Nomly is provided for personal use and we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, business losses, or losses caused by inaccurate information that you could reasonably have identified by checking the original packaging or food. You remain responsible for decisions about buying, storing, preparing and consuming food.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using Nomly at any time. You can permanently delete your account by opening You, scrolling to the bottom and selecting Delete account. We may suspend or end access if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, create risk for other users or the service, or where required by law.

11. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms as Nomly changes. We will update the date above and, for material changes, provide notice where appropriate. English law governs these terms, without taking away any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. The courts of England and Wales will generally have jurisdiction, although consumers may also have rights to bring proceedings where they live.
